        @mattdsteele @snekse Yeah, restricting Vpn IP’s for S3 bucket, but then S3 doesn’t do HTTPS without Cloudfront in front of it. Gets messy! Defining “on-prem” can be difficult

      @mattdsteele @snekse But I agree, if I was CTO, have a single setup to host all of these for a company, with a repeatable pattern. Instead each team often has their own devops and does it slightly different

    @mattdsteele @snekse Also, many places require a server-side deployment because they don't have a way to deploy static sites. So you need a Java or .NET backend that all it does is serve the HTML/JS/CSS, just to fit their existing deployment models!
