The biggest change in coding in the past ~10 years has to be git. I can't imagine going back to svn, cvs, or *shudder* ClearCase, StarTeam, etc. I'd like to git stash that memory

i mean, i can understand some legacy stuff still stuck in svn/cvs land. and i do run into it from time to time... but certainly can't imagine any new development in anything but git (or maybe fossil)

my only real 🌶️ hot take: your git dev workflow should NOT depend on bisect, cherry-pick, or force pushing PRs. and PR --ff merges are nirvana (even though few places seem to use them)
